You know when you're opening up for people especially

Especially if there's alcohol involved

You know i'm a folk artist really

At the end of the day um

At open for bauhaus

There be goth fans out there with shaped teeth

You know like vampires and vampire makeup on

You can use a lot of different tactics

Sometimes i'd start on the quiet

A song i had like a whisper

Because it makes people stop and start to go wait

Who's whispering

You know

I uh was probably got fairly famous or infamous for um

Kicking people out of

Shows that weren't mine

Ha ha ha i'd ask people to be quiet

You know

That it was hard to be up there and be singing

And where they

Please be quiet

And a lot of times people would

But sometimes it'd be a couple people that really wouldn't

And i said you know i totally respect that

You're not here to see me you're welcome to come back

When the headliners on

And i'd get security to take them out

I'd save their spot

Form even i was like i'll save your spot

You can have the spot back just leave

Yodeling was like always the last resort

You know if nobody else was listening

And i couldn't make anybody pay attention to me

Yodeling always made people you know

Pay attention

I'm not always sure for a good reason

That they would pay attention
