Life it seems it's just full of pain

And since the beginnin time

It's been one cruel game

And we see this everyday

And yet there

Seems to be no change

I think it's time

We rearrange the way

We think and who we blame

A couple years ago

I knew this girl

I think I'll call her Kim

She had the korea smile

But her light was growin

Dim she had to squeeze on to

The mattress on to the

Bottom of the floor

I'm sure you guessed it by now

Lil' kimie was born poor

At nite she'd prayed the

Lord would bless her

Family with more and then she

Ask herself the question

What we sufferin for

There's gotta be more

To life than just tryna live it

Right but if I knew the answer that

Then I wouldn't have to write

I met this kid his name was Brian

He was lyin in the hospital bed

And it appears he's lost hope

He's hangin on a cliff

And he's waitin and prayin for somebody to cut the rope

When times are rough you pray to God to take the pain away

But with a brighter day

Rest assure there

Comes a rainy day

Glancin thru the window brian

Asks himself the question

'Mommy it's not fair

How come all of them get to play

And why create my life just to have it swept away'

It seems that life is playin games

It's unbearable the pain

It that this tragic experience is for a greater gain

I guess we'll never know

The question still remains
