Growing up was a fairytale

Strive to be just like mom one day

The lessons she shared her wisdom and care

In my own parenting I'll always bear

With her every hug and every lullaby

I would tell them to reach for the sky

Phone calls from mom at daily delight

Make my life infinitely bright

With gratitude I can never repay

For the love she's given everyday

But still big brothers love to tease me cause I was younger

Pushing me round calling me names pulling on my ponytail

But they were the ones with the best hugs and jokes

To make me smile for days

If my brother see me crying

I was always listening to all that they say

Learning how to be like them someday

My two bodyguards biggest heroes

I met my best friend when I was just three

We've been inseparable ever since

My baby sister's one of a kind

I love her with all my heart

She lights up the room just walking by

A laugh that makes you feel so alive

We played dolls and then basketball

Now college in the fall time flies on by

But how lucky am I to have you by my side

My big sister's job to be a role model

For her sister to follow

What she doesn't know the roles are reversed

And I've never met someone so much about a day

Never to take for granted a sister like you
