beautiful decorations everyone's in the mood and dressed up in kind of christmas， colors， green， red white furry things look at these cute outfits i mean everyone's excited to take pictures everyone's taking video greetings and there's lots of lots of fun things to do we're gonna walk the streets and just show you how amazing china is during this season they keep telling us they don't celebrate christmas but you know what i don't think that's true everyone's looking forward to those christmas gifts tomorrow at least i am so let's go check it out yes alex is right here and let me pass it on to you next all right guys so i was behind the camera yulia's in front of the camera and i'm just going to put this mic off to the side here so guys merry christmas and good morning or good evening wherever you guys are watching from we're taking the next roll here the weather is pretty good it's about eight to ten outside and this is the city i've been in for over three years now during the holiday season and every year it gets bigger and bigger and bigger so what we're going to do now is before we get into carrying on with this lice i'm going to show you a little bit of what i've been up to in the capital city of beijing all right we're gonna look at what i was up to in beijing and we'll come right back and merry christmas from the capital of china that's right beautiful beijing right in front of me here a little bit crispier than chunching and we'll get back to chunching in a moment whoever said christmas was cancelled in china clearly don't live in china or they haven't been to china we can have a look here over the last couple of days on some of the festive and festivities that i've gone on i attended a party in a bar， a santa themed party in a bar， i've gone to various hotels restaurants and areas fully decorated in the christmas spirit and what i will do now is i will head to the ritz carlton here another beautiful hotel here in beijing temperature check is about minus eight to ten people are in the spirits everywhere you go in the restaurants there is a christmas spirit thank you sir thank you and you can see all the beautiful decorations here merry christmas everyone and look how festive everything is around here in beijing， everyone's getting into a christmas spirit lots of shopping， lots of hot chocolate and lots of christmas biscuits and i just love the decoration so yeah this christmas in china is fun all day i've been walking around filming christmas trees like a weirdo， but you love it you can see here you can come see this here this is in a lot of the hotels， but it's like they create a little christmas village that gets you in the spirit if you forgot anything at home or last minute gifts stockings all the beautiful stuff i'm still looking for eggnog i think i'll find it， but that's it from the beautiful bashing now i'm gonna let you guys listen to some fabulous christmas music look at some of the sites we've seen here everybody i would say this is the christmas street for all the girls in the city for sure but it's also a place where friends and family meet it's a really interesting area， a lot of restaurants and bars down here so if you want to get into the feeling of a christmas village this is the area to come here and i just want to say hello to all my friends across the world thank you very much for reminds me of when we were kids in canada where you would look at all the displays inside the shops and well， it's christmas everywhere you go now a lot of the menus have changed as we experienced in beijing there are things on the menu like eggnog drink we even had as you saw just priorly here in the clip， we had mold wine and as well we also attended my first santa party in a bar it was rock and rolling this is interesting everybody's getting all decked out in their scarves and it's like all these restaurants are in competition with each other who's got the biggest and best christmas tree going on here than my cities in canada i'm sorry canadians out there， but i've been back to canada a while， but i got to tell you every place has taken serious attention here to making their restaurants meet the standards of i guess a chunks in christmas let's have a look here on how i would say the temperature outside， right now is about eight to ten， but here's i want to show you guys how the chunks in they love this city it's very very hot in the summertime here and not super cold in the wintertime， but colder in the wintertime but they still love being outside and look at all these restaurants here they never close the doors this is one thing i can never understand about chungqing it's colder， but the doors are always open the taxi drivers drive with the windows down in santa claus is doing well here in chung jing。 努力好吗？好吗？努力！ you know there's a lineup even for a fake santa claus and let's have a look at how people are eating here and this is this is interesting looks like they have i believe it's probably some tea they have some beautiful dates oranges they're putting them over top of a barbecue， even a lot of the fresh fruits here over the barbecue here and it's really interesting have a look at this atmosphere and i gotta tell you the camping atmosphere has really got quite popular here in china over the last couple of years and they bring their pets out their dogs i like this place here it's got a quite a theme nice little fireplace theme to it bring your pets down here no problem pets pet friendly most of these places it's hope that santa claus ice and catch fire there sitting on and let's talk about some of the prices here as well guys if you do come to this city here is a spaghetti bowl in is about 48 r amp。 b it's about eight dollars and this is not really a country that does a lot of tipping so you'll see that a lot of these prices everything is included all right ice cream in the tree it will try to keep the camera nice and steady go back and take a photo with every christmas tree but i've checked out all the decorations and you know it's truly really really cute i think if if you want to keep your social accounts active and in this christmas spirit it's easy to do that here one location for everything you can it's a great place you can just relax you during the day and you'd be surprised that well， i'm surprised that even a christmas people don't actually drink alcohol， they come and drink tea they come and hang out by， but i don't see people drinking wine or beer or cocktails mold wine is just yeah it's very popular i think they generally like sweet things so look at the skewed outfit i love the i love the little coat the girl's dress he is so nice they're also very pretty i just love it i like it when people dress up for the occasion， you know and the girls do it really well here i'm excited it's just so much fun when everyone's kind of on the same level， you know everyone's energy high， so despite everyone japanese food course， traditional local hot pot food and we spotted another dog dogs everywhere down here and i can imagine there's probably a lot of professional photographers first down here taking photos for girls it's a thing that we find a lot of professional for talk of hers come down here and actually set up for the ultimate photo for some of the girls， who want to put it on their instagram and guys too thank you and that's good that we have a mirror down here to get everything in order that's really beautiful down here i've been here a few times to whoops cocktail， bar and coffee and photo and of course in with tradition locals again bald wine probably some eggnog there as her tradition continues everybody's in on the photos it just doesn't stop it's endless i think all we're missing down here now is santa claus but it's nice to see the family come out and take photos with the kids and enjoy the spirit here as more people are waiting to get in line to get their photos watching for the first time in your trying to figure out where i am i'm in a city called chungqing in southwest china that's right southwest china about a two hour and 30 minute flight from beijing a one hour high speed rail from chongqing pardonia one hour high speed rail from a chengdu pardon me as chungqing used to be part of this estroin province now， it's a miniscality here since 1997 and things have grown and the city has become very interesting wow， somebody got a nice gift for christmas let's have a look at the other side of the road here where this is where more the bars are or we call them lounges now they have taken on a little bit different spirit here they have the christmas crew but here's what a love of it chauncing the outdoor heaters you can see the outdoor heaters that one actually has fresh wood in it and this is how much people love being outside they will stay outside here pretty much throughout the whole year the temperature i don't know why the temperature christmas it's the oranges that we get here man do they remind me of my childhood where my parents would bring a box of oranges home all the time for christmas and they would bring them home about the 15th of december and about by the 20th everybody had very good levels of vitamin c my family maybe that was a strategy but they were yummy we got some more displays here the kids are happy now look at this here we go just keeps going and list them up and you see a lot of these either amateur professional photographers will maybe also try to take some nice voters of the girls and guys of course wow， this place has got it in spirit for sure and the snow machine is happening here as well is it snowing in shangching well it feels like it's snowing in shangching now if you're gonna come down here come down to the fried cake and drink and you will definitely feel your christmas atmosphere 看这个 走 and more and more and more and more people enjoy it i'm gonna let this city kick back and enjoy its
