hi, it's robert again from the portable monotoiing system and today i want to show you which kind of settings you can do for your gateway and your sensor within the software of the portable monotoiing system to reach the settings you need to select one system and click on a tile to open the details there you find the settings section and you can open it by clicking the arrow on the left hand side you see the data transmission interval here you can select how often data are send from the gateway to the cloud for changing the transmission interval you can easily type or use the up and down arrows also you can change between seconds and minutes when you found the suitable value, you can click save and the system confirms that with a message on the right hand side you can change your device profile that means that you tell the sensor which kind of data is sending to the gateway and to the cloud there are five standard profiles available let's go and change two vibration biologity and click the safe button again the message gives you the information that your alert rules will be deleted by changing the profile again you see that the device was successfully updated and now let's wait till the first measurement data are coming in while waiting i can explain the logic behind the data transmission interval a little bit deeper in our case, we set the interval to twenty two seconds that means that every twenty two seconds the sensor takes the measurement value of your asset that you are monitoring the measurement value then ascend to the gayway over iron link the gayway transmits the data into mqtt and sends it directly into the cloud after a small latency you then see the data directly here in our dashboard, you see that already two data points were coming here into our diagrams for instance the velocity arm s value and x direction is at the moment at zero point one four millimeter per second and the y value is at zero point one five millimeter per seconds let's wait another few seconds until the third measurement value is coming in and there it is vibration in both xs is slightly going down you obviously see that probably looking at the data the whole day is not the most interesting task so i would suggest you that you look our next tutorial way learn how to set alarms to even more efficiently monitor the assets within your production area thanks for listening today bye and hear you next time。

hello, everybody and welcome to the second session about our guided change over solution in the last video we learned about what the guided change over solution is about what kind of benefits we can give to the customers how can they solve their help in format change applications and also what is an evaluation kit and how to get that kind of evaluation kit about this solution and this time we are going the next steps and try to find out how to work with that kind of evaluation kit we will do the first steps in software and we will do also some configuration okay to start with this evaluation kit we just prepared a set of different components here, which can be also in that kind of evaluation kit what we have is an so called edge gateway? where our solution is running on connected to this educateway will be so called b and i iolink master module and on the parts of this iolink master module all the necessary devices like senders or actuators, smart lights, position, indicators and son are connected and during this session we will try to find out how to work with this system how to configure and how to parameter rises we selected a number of different devices and this is as i said the educateway and the master module connected on the master module is first of all here is so called smartlight indicator and this smart light indicator can be used to detect or to indicate if a preparation the configuration of the specific device is correct or not as well we have also called position indicator a digital position indicator and this is perfectly to be used to detect the width of a conveyor belt for example which is very common in a formal change application also a measurement system is this btl and this is also used to detect different sizes and can be used for example to detect the heights of a shrinking tunnel or whatever, we also have a smart light indicator device which always indicates the actual starters of the running format change activity so all the steps finished is everything okay is there mistake or something like that this will be indicated all the time with the smartlight the last one is our rfid read ride head this is one example of our different solutions and this rfid read ride head we are going to use to detect possible different change tools which might be necessary during the format change the connection of all these devices is always the same it's all based on iolink so all the devices will be connected with a standard three wire sends or cable just connected to the master part and then to the device as well and that's it so it's the same with all the other devices in the software first, we can give an ip address to the iolink master we are going to use for this we are connected here with a pc directly to the iolink master and with a standard web browser i can open up this web server and the iolink master modules are coming with standard ip address which is in the manual mentioned and will also come up with a username and the password we will need that later on so this is the access to the aiolink master module via the web server and first of all we can switch to english language here and then we have the chance to lock in to this module and as i said the username and the password is mentioned on the side of the module and this is a standard one and as soon as you lock in of course you have the chance to change these username and password so we are going to log in and if we did that then we have the chance here now to give the ip ip address to this ioling master module this should fit to the ip address range where also the kateway is working in so we will leave this here as it is this is okay this ip address and we have to keep this in mind this is what we have to use later on in our software so we can disconnect now the master and connect it directly to the edge gateway and our pc is now connected to the second part of the gateway as well and the access to this gateway is also via our debt browser and here the ip address is one nine, two one six eight ten one so this is the first picture the operator sees or the customer sees when he's starting the guided change over software package so you'll see not that much available right now there is an area which is called monitoring the operator later on can monitor all the running formats or recipes and there is a product selection which is when we step into that still empty of course because here you will find later on all the created recipes we have also an area here where you can find help information helpful information about the software itself, the handling the configuration and so on can change the language from english to either, german or portuguese, and we have the lock in area which is quite important you need this if you want to create new recipes, you need new recipes, change recipes or do a hardware configuration so we are going to lock in here and put in our passport here we are with the standard password which you can find in the manuals and after logging in the first time you have the chance to change this password so you have to use this standard password again and then you can use your own password for the future and we pass what it's changed and you see after logging in we have much more possibilities not only monitoring and product selection, but also the product configuration where we will create the recipes later on we see the hardware configuration to configure the master module and all the connected devices we have the exchange part configuration where we configure the different rfid tax which might be mounted on the different change tools we have the backup and restore area where you can back up safe project and restore or upload the projects again and we have the device configuration here and let's start with this device configuration this is the configuration of the port of the flexible port of or edge gateway we have one port on the edge gateway where we can set up free a ip address, subnet mask and gateway address this is what we are going to use and this should be correlating to what is set in the rest of the apology especially in the iolink master okay going back to the home screen now let's start with a hardware configuration we want to configure this system here to create later on recipes we are going into the hardware configuration there is nothing right now go further on with add new and now we can add our first iolink master module the first thing we have to do is to put in the ip address of this master module this is what we said before and we can give name of this master module also that you can find or identify this master clearly because with switches and hops and so on it's possible to expand the topology so that you can use also more than only one master module in the future so we say this is the master for application number, one username and the password is the username and password which is integrated in the master itself before that we use them use a name and password to give an ip address to this ironing master module this is what you have to put in here and there is also a standard password which is mentioned on the side of the module and of course later on you can also change this, but what you type in here should correlate with what is in the master module so here it is still standard, passport and administration so this is what you have to type in the details of this master module and if you did that the software will connect to this master and will check what kind of devices are connected so as soon as the software connects to the master all the all the ports will be switched on as an island port, and that gives the software as a possibility to also check what kind of devices are connected so we see this master is connected and now we can go further onto the device configuration so let's select this and you see already that number of devices are already connected let's start with this bni zero zero eight eight this is our smart light here and as i said this smart light will later on indicate the status all the time about the current format change activity which is currently running so we can apply what the software found this module is okay and we can give a clear name to this device as well and we say okay this indicates the status of the format change and safe this on port three now it's configured you see and detected and switched on already on port number three we have this smart light indicator here and i already told you that this can be used to check if the settings and configurations of a specific device are okay and we will use this as well and say this is for shake device conflict and safeness on port four we have this btl this measurement system and as i said this can be used to check the height of a shrinking tunnel for example then we have our bdg the digital position indicator and with this we want to change the widths of a conveyor belt so this is this unit and we say okay this is for checking convey your belt okay and the last one is our rfrd read right head and this is what we are going to use to detect and check the different tools the different change tools which we might use during the different recipes so that is our rfid read right head and this is for the change tools so the last port we are going to configure is port number eight and may you already recognize that every time when you configure a device or port you have the chance to select this port as a handshake port and we will do this with our port number eight here and as soon as we did this the soft bear detects this as a hen shake port and that means on pin two and pin four of this specific port we are going to have a digital interface to a possible plc or controller or something like that these pins will always indicate if the format change is running or if there are any problems in the format change or something like that this could be a very very easy interface and indication to a plc controller for example the hardware configuration you see it's quite simple very easy not that much to do we have to be clear so that we can find these units later on in our recipe and how to create a recipe we will see in the next session so this is for today thank you very much for joining and hope to see you again。

hi, this is robert from the portable montoying system today we want to learn how to set up an alarm within the system and also in which channels for instance via email or in the activity lock you are able to monitor your alarms to come to the alarm settings you need to select one device let's have a look on the contact temperature diagram you see here when you use the mouse over that temperature actually is at thirty seven degrees of celsius when you scroll down a little bit you can create a new rule and this can be having the severity warning or alert also you can select all the measurement values here of course we take contact temperature you can select if the value is lower or higher than the limit and you set your limit to thirty seven degrees or you can make it even more specific let's set it to thirty six point nine degrees and then you enter on the right inside your email address where you want to send the notification too of course you are able to enter a message in that case we say temperature alert when all information has been entered you easily click the safe button when we now go back to our temperature diagram you see the dashed line here that shows you where you set your alarm at the moment the measured values are higher than your threshold minimum that you actually were setting also and now you can have a look in the activity lock and see what your last alarms were and also when they were stopped again the lock helps you to see your history of the previous warnings and alarms we can refresh the page and see if a new alarm was securing, but no at the moment it doesn't look like that so let's scroll up to the diagram and have a look and yes we see now the measurement value was higher than outside alarm measurement value it's higher than thirty six point nine degrees so now looking back to the activity lock, we see the alarm was started next to the entry in the activity lock of course we will get an email from the system once the alarm level was reached to see that we can switch into our outlook and check our email inbox and there you see the portal monitoring system send us an email in the subject of the email you can see from, which devised the alarm or the warning came, and also you see which rule applies for this alarm in that case contact temperature exceeds thirty six point nine degrees of seldiers also within the email text you have link that directly opens the affected device last, not least there is one more way to monitor your alarms and warnings we already explained that feature in the first tutorial video, but now let's have a look on this again for that you click the home button and you enter your dashboard view and you see here now that your one tile of the device where the alarm was succeeded shows up in red color now you pretty much learned all what you need too easily and effectively monitor the assets within your production area。

hello, everyone my name is shishi reggie i'm with ballaff as a product marketing manager and today, i'm going to talk about condition monitoring solutions offered by ballaff every plant has critical assets and monitoring those critical assets could be expensive and time consuming task especially those critical assets need monitoring on a continuous basis, a lot of plants they are done today as a preventative measure but we are showing you solutions that can help you get to a predictive measure of your critical assets so there are multiple solutions here the first one i want to show you our highlight here is a fan with a missing blade this is to replicate a condition of imbalanced load on a motor and how the condition monitoring sensor from ballaff detects that so the ball of condition monitoring sensor measures, velocities, vibration velocities and vibration accelerations in all three dimensions, x, y and z it also gives you point to point values or peak to peak values, rms values and so on and so forth in addition to that it can also measure pressure, ambient pressure and temperature as well for the motor so if i turn on that fan as you can see in the screen about it is starting to create that unbalanced load and we can measure the unbalanced load on the motor monitoring section of the screen and if i slide down a little more, you can see all the vibration patterns and vibration data so what this helps you is this creates a dashboard for you through the system called condition monitoring toolkit from ballof this condition monitoring toolkit are so called black box collects data directly from the condition monitoring sensor to plot it in a visible fashion, this is a completely customizable screen that comes with that black box or so called condition monitoring toolkit it's a edge gateway that is collecting data directly from the sensor and storing that data for future analysis and use now in addition to that imbalance load and setting alerts from there, we can also show how this condition condition monitoring toolkit can also work with different types of sensors as well another thing if you're noticing here, the condition monitoring toolkit is also projecting that information to a smart light and the smart light will turn red as the vibration patterns change drastically as it's noticing some changes it's already showing that there is a pending problem with this system so and there it goes when it goes about a certain threshold it actually shows you visually to the operator or onto the machine or the dashboard to the maintenance guys moving on to the next solution with the same condition monitoring toolkit, you can also incorporate several different ioling sensors that can be connected back through either a io link hub or directly through the cmtk itself so cmtk has a capability to host four different io link sensors or you can add a io link analog hub and collect the analog data from different sensors to bring it into the condition monitoring toolkit as i was showing earlier in this particular screen on the top, you can see the pressure and temperature as it's experienced by the devices that are plugged in here and as you can see the pressure just went down there is a flow and there is a temperature of the water flowing through the pipes that all can be measured imagine this for your hydraulic pumps that are sitting in the basement you can monitor all this data on a dashboard without having to walk down to the basement or mazinine to do an individual measurements there are more features and functions to learn more about condition monitoring toolkit about ballaff's condition monitoring solutions please visit ballaff com thank you。
