liquid ran the gauntlet in an unprecedented liquid pick up the soap， we hear it brought for it and they oh you'll and liquid out if they got the champions if they've got masters what he brought to the team suchidically was incredible he is the coach for us you take us to the next level ladies and gentlemen esteem liquid accomplishments are transient， but this legacy is permanently have done what no one may ever do again until grant slim team liquid so when we part it weighs with eric， we were really at the height of a very very stressful period for the team covid hit the north american team extremely hard only being able to play online and practice on the american servers not being able to play any global or international tournaments at the time we felt it was right to make a change with regards to the coach and and brought moses in， but you don't always know what you have until you don't and i think that is the case with regards to eric what he brought to the team strategically was just incredible now that we have the roster that we have today we feel strongly that eric is the coach for us to take us to the next level so after the parting liquid last year in around august， i decided to just take some time away from esports in general， i didn't want to dive back in the counter strike right away due to covid i didn't think the landscape was that enticing for me to jump back in counter strike， didn't seem that appealing so i decided to just take some time off and relax and just wait for the next opportunity and just give myself some time to think and i guess patients paid off because here i'm back at liquid， so i think my expectations this time joining team liquids can be a little bit different than when i joined in 2019 i think in 2019 the team was coming off a lot of success already in a great 2018 year， and i was coming into that team expecting us to you know be the best and be number one not as quickly as we did it and not as domina as we did it， but i really did expect us to be the number one team in the world this time around you know the landscape of counter track is a little bit different the goal is the same as always， but i think it's gonna be a lot harder this time to establish that number one spot i'm more of an analytical coach and the team knows that coming in so i think my prior experience with team like it will definitely help um， it was my first time coaching and i learned a lot throughout my almost two years there coaching i know to expect from the players they know to expect from me， so it should be just you know go trading to working mode when eric was coaching a team， we had such an incredible run of results winning tournaments back to back to back to eventually win the grand slam in cologne， which was one of the most special moments in our history what eric can bring to the table is strategic leadership and that is what this team needs right now and with those insights and him working with our players bring everyone back on the same page i fully believe that we can win championships again whether you be from north america brazil international wherever if your team look at fan， i hope you give you something to cheer about ana， as specifically is in a rough spot right now so giving north america a great team to cheer for it is something i want to do and i hope to bring ana back of course the ambition is to win championships， but ultimately what gets you there is just evaluating the pieces that you have and optimizing for those， and that is what we're doing with eric and as long as we're doing that then the results will fall excited to be back with team liquid for the third time let's go。
